Curriculum
In our Religious Education curriculum, we follow the Vine and the Branches curriculum. The following is an overview of what is taught each half term.
Alongside The Vine and the Branches curriculum, we also follow the Caritas in Action curriculum. We aim to weave this curriculum into our other curriculum areas, helping the children make connections between religion and other aspects of their learning. The units we teach through Caritas in Action are as follows;
- Theme 1: The Dignity of the Human Person.
- Theme 2: Family and Community.
- Theme 3: Solidarity and the Common Good.
- Theme 4: Rights and Responsibilities.
- Theme 5: Option for the Poor and Vulnerable.
- Theme 6: The Dignity of Work.
- Theme 7: Stewardship.
