Chester Zoo
What a 'Roarsome' day!
Year 6 visited Chester Zoo to explore the variety of animals and their habitats. Every direction taken was filled with amazing and interesting animals - some of which we had never seen up close or even heard of before. This gave the children opportunity to learn many interesting facts and brought our Adaptations, Evolution and Habitats Science unit to life.
The children experienced the different environments first hand, from the tropical heat of the butterfly house to the dark cool caves of the bats.
