We have had so much fun learning all about Chinese New Year on our return to school, the Year of the Horse! We even had a dragon parade outside.

Happy Chinese New Year!

Our Key Text this half term is "What The Ladybird Heard" by Julia Donaldson. The children have been exploring different textures in our farm yard small world area, and have been giving the pigs a mud bath!

Our big question this half term is "How can we show love and care to others like Jesus?" Nursery certainly have been following in Jesus' footsteps, we have been busy looking after the babies, washing them in the bath tub so they are nice and clean for bedtime. We have also been constructing in the construction area, building homes and houses for those who are less fortunate.

We have had a special delivery today. A small container called an incubator and a huge empty cage. I wonder what this could be for?

What an exciting week! Say hello to our newest class mates, the chicks! What an incredible experience for Nursery to observe, we immediately checked the chicks area each day to see what changes had happened overnight.

Crazy about chicks.

We are in the season of Lent and we want to grow in love. In Nursery we have been reading 'The Tiny Seed' by Eric Carle. Today we planted our own tiny seeds, stay tuned to see how they turn out.

Mathematicians at work.

Oh no! Hefty Hugh and Lanky Len, (the bad guys from our key text story) have escaped!!! Can you keep a look out?
