Continents and Oceans
In Geography, Year 1 pupils have been learning about the world by naming the seven continents and the five oceans. They explored a globe and simple maps, locating and labelling each continent and ocean, and learning that our world is made up of different countries, seas and land masses. This has helped them to develop a sense of where places are in the world and to begin using geographical vocabulary with confidence.
