Fun and Games!

We had so much fun in class, it was great to see children dressed up and the effort that went in to making the costumes.

There were lots of solo and team activities to choose from throughout the day, including flip it, make it and build it (using numerals, numicon, and cubes), jigsaws,  making number bocks, a number hunt,  spin the number wheel, building towers,  making birthday cards and cakes, dominoes and  number rhymes.  The activities allowed the children to practice problem solving, number recognition, counting objects, addition and subtraction within 10, subitising and much more!
