Time Traveller

What an amazing time we had at Salford Museum. It was really interesting to see how the lives of people in the past, differ from  those of today.

During our visit  we walked along Lark Hill place, a Victorian street. The children experienced the sights and sounds of Salford in the past. The street had a lot of shops, including a toy shop, a dress makers , a pharmacy, a shoemakers and more.

The children were able to touch some of the objects in the street, including old printing paper and a Penny Farthing bicycle. They also experienced wash day in Victorian times.

There was so much to see! Share the experience with your children by discussing the photographs and asking them questions about what they saw and what they enjoyed the most.
